From when I was a little girl up until now I have written. I have countless notebooks full of half-finished stories, most of them unoriginal, but there are a few that I still look at and still add to when inspiration decides to appear. One of them is probably the most autobiographical I’ve written, which isn’t to say that I don’t draw from experience when I write, but this one has followed my life a bit more faithfully than the others (with a few embellishments here and there). In it, I made a list of celebrities with whom I fancy myself to be best friends with. I thought it would only be right of me to prove to you why.
To those of you (and I can’t imagine there are many of you) who actually read this occasionally, you have heard me mention Rob on numerous occasions. The thing about this guy is that he’s genuine with everyone he meets – from what I can gather of course. He treats everyone the exact same way. For some people, this doesn’t work, but for Rob because he’s so personable and energetic people flock to him. He just radiates a certain energy. And he’s crazy.
A friend of mine believes that he and I are going to be married one day. I must say, if she speaks the truth I couldn’t be happier with my future-husband-to-be. I mean, he does your regular stand up…
…Musical numbers, and he does jokes on a large pad. His TV show was pretty fantastic too.
Veronica Mars was enough to convince me that she and I need to be best pals. After reading an interview done in Cosmo, it only confirmed my suspicions. Watch the bee bit. You’ll see. And if you want further proof, watch Veronica Mars and you’ll fall in love with her too. 😉
It may seem an odd choice, he’s a vamp in Twilight and I’m a self-professed Twilight hater. Yes, we do appear to be a little star-crossed, but I’m willing to overlook the Twilight thing and settle for being best friends. He’s in a band called 100 Monkeys, he has a song entitled “Jello” which I think was the reason my best friend suggested them to me (that and because J-Rath is in it).
I can’t understand a lot of what he says, but…Y’know. There’s another one too – “Boo Boo Kitty Fuck” that is pretty good too. I can’t entirely explain why we should be best friends, but I do know that his music is pretty awesome. Their improv’d songs are so awesome…
The Guys (Jonnie, Ben, Duncan, Dave) in The Buried Life
I think were you to watch any of their episodes you would realize exactly why I want to be best friends with them. They’re so driven, hilarious, and talented. I think what they’re doing is so inspiring and I only wish I had come up with this idea before they did. 😛
Those are the people who I can think of off the top of my head, a few years back I’m sure Matt Parker and Trey Stone would have made it but…Actually I don’t know why they’re not on here, but I’m too lazy to add them.
If I were to speak frankly, I figure there isn’t a high probability that I will be meeting these folks and even if I were to I probably wouldn’t be given enough time to prove that I’m someone they should become friends with. But if I were, I know we would get along. But I have the best friends I could ask for even without these famous people. So really, these people on my list are missing out. I mean, who wouldn’t want to hang out with me and my best friends? 😛
Now a question to you folks out there – who are some famous people who you would want to be best friends with?
